Open the Inventory Put-away window.
Contains the instructions that a warehouse employee will follow to put received items into storage. This window is used when the location is set up to require put-away processing but not receipt processing.
Note |
---|
In the case of production orders, the Inventory Put-away window is used to put away production output even when the location is set up to require put-away processing and receipt processing but not directed put-away and pick. For more information about putting away production output, see Putting Away Production Output. |
After you place the items in storage as indicated on the lines, you post the put-away and thereby post the receipt for the source document (or, in the case of production orders, post the output). The items are then available to pick for production orders and outbound source documents (for example, sales, purchase return, or outbound transfer orders).
