Contains the code for the number series that will be used to assign document numbers to ledger entries that are posted from this journal batch. To see the number series that have been set up in the No. Series table, choose the field.
When you created the journal batch, the program automatically copied the posting number series from the Posting No. Series field in the item journal template. You can change the code if you want a different number series to be used in this journal batch.
When you create a journal line in this batch, the program will automatically copy the contents of this field to the Posting No. Series field on the journal line.
