Specifies a general posting type that will be used with the VAT statement.
The general posting type, together with the VAT Bus. Posting Group and VAT Prod. Posting Group fields, determines which VAT entries from the VAT Entry table will be totaled.
You do not need to fill in this field unless you have selected VAT Entry Totaling in the Type field.
Specify the VAT entries that will be totaled by choosing the field and selecting one of the three options:
<Blank> | The general posting type will be Blank if you do not enter anything in the field. Note however that the Blank option should be replaced because VAT entries always have a general posting type. |
Purchase | Select this option if the purchase VAT entries should be totaled. |
Sale | Select this option if the sales VAT entries should be totaled. |
Settlement | The line totals VAT entries of the Settlement type. |
