Specifies codes that identify the progress of repair and maintenance of service items. The program uses nine different repair status options that identify situations or actions taken when servicing service items. They are:
- Initial
- In Process
- Finished
- Referred
- Partly Serviced
- Quote Finished
- Spare Part Ordered
- Spare Part Received
- Waiting for Customer
The repair status of a service item in a service order affects both the service order status and the status of the corresponding service order allocation entry.
The program assigns repair status automatically to service items in some instances, for example, when a service item line is created in a service order (Initial Status).
When you have set up repair statuses, you can assign them to service items in the Service Order window and the Service Item Worksheet window.
