Role Centers in the RoleTailored client provide access to the key tasks and information that you need. Role Centers are associated with user profiles to provide only the information and activities that a profile is generally interested in. You can customize a Role Center to include or remove additional information and activities related to a profile. You can also change the default Role Center that opens when you open the RoleTailored client for Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

To change a Role Center

  1. In the Search box, enter Profiles, and then choose the related link.

  2. In the Profiles list, select the profile related to the Role Center that you want to set as the default. For example, select Bookkeeper. You can also select the profile that you want, and on the Home tab, in the Manage group, choose Edit.

  3. In the Profile Card window, select the Default Role Center check box, and then choose the OK button.

  4. Close and reopen Microsoft Dynamics NAV to view the new Role Center.
