You can export your analysis view to Microsoft Excel. There you can analyze and work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV data using the full range of features in Excel.
To export analysis views to Excel
In the Search box, enter Analysis by Dimensions, and then choose the related link.
Select the relevant analysis view. On the Home tab, in the Process group, choose Edit Analysis View to open the Analysis by Dimensions window.
On the Options FastTab, in the Show field, select either Actual Amounts or Budgeted Amounts. If you select Budgeted Amounts, the Show Amount field must contain Amount.
Fill in the rest of the fields on the FastTabs.
On the Home tab, choose Show Matrix to view the Analysis by Dimensions Matrix.
On the Home tab, choose Export to Excel.

The maximum possible number of lines in Excel is approximately 65000. If your analysis view generates too many lines, an error message will appear in Excel. |

In Excel, the column headings always display the code. If you select the Show Column Name field in the Analysis by Dimensions window, the column headings will display both code and name in Excel. |
