When you fill in a sales document, the price in the Unit Price field should represent the lowest possible price with the highest possible discount on this date. However, if you would like to see whether there are alternative sales line discounts, see if the Sales Line Discount Exists field is selected. If so, you can look up the sales line.
The following procedure is for a sales order, but you can follow these steps for other sales documents as well.
To look up sales line discounts
In the Search box, enter Sales Orders, and then choose the related link. Create a new sales order.
On the Lines FastTab, choose Actions
, choose Functions, and then choose Get Line Discount.The alternative line discounts are shown in the Get Sales Line Disc. window.
To select an alternative line discount, select the line, and choose the OK button.
