Open the Resources Setup window.

Specifies how you want resources to work.

Numbering FastTab

Use this FastTab to specify the default numbering series codes for resources and time sheets. In addition, you specify additional information for the default setup of time sheets.

Field Description

Resource Nos.

Specifies the code for the number series that you can use to assign numbers to resources. To see the number series that have been set up in the No. Series table, choose the field.

Time Sheet Nos.

Specifies the code for the number series that you can use to assign numbers to time sheets. To see the number series that have been set up in the No. Series table, choose the field.

Time Sheet First Weekday

Specifies the first weekday that applies to a time sheet. For example, you can specify that the work week starts on Sunday. By default, the first weekday is Monday.

Time Sheet by Job Approval

Indicates whether time sheets must be approved on a per job basis. The following table describes the available options.

Option Description

Always

If the time sheet is linked with a job, then the Person Responsible specified on the Job Card card approves the time sheet. This applies to both persons and machines.

Machine Only

If the machine time sheet is linked with a job, then the Person Responsible specified on the Job Card card approves the time sheet. If the machine time sheet is linked with a resource, then the Time Sheet Approver User ID specified on the Resource Card card approves the time sheet.

Never

Default. Time sheet is approved by the Time Sheet Approver User ID specified on the Resource Card card.
