Specifying synchronization between Outlook and Microsoft Dynamics NAV is related to the two possible types of running it: automatically and manually.
The Outlook synchronization process is initiated by the Outlook add-in component, so the synchronization is performed only when the Outlook application is running. The automatic synchronization is performed in a predefined period of time. This period counts right after the previous synchronization has been completed successfully.
If you do not want to wait until the next automatic synchronization to start, you can perform synchronization manually.
